Teaching
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that good design is clear thinking made visible. I emphasize a balance between analytical precision and creative exploration, encouraging students to think critically and communicate thoughtfully through design. Interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration are central to my pedagogical approach, helping students understand design within broader cultural, social, and systemic contexts. I foster an environment that values curiosity, perspective-taking, and attention to detail—skills essential for developing a reflective, process-driven approach to creative problem solving and for making a meaningful impact in the real world.

Visualization for Well-being is an interdisciplinary teaching initiative that explores how visual communication can support self-reflection, emotional awareness, and wellness. Through a series of design studios and workshops, students engage in research-driven, human-centered projects that use information design, data visualization, and narrative strategies to address personal and collective aspects of wellbeing.
