Our Design 5505 Information Design class presents an in-depth exploration of the April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, a rare and captivating phenomenon set to traverse North America. This collaborative project, researched and designed by the entire class, provides a comprehensive visual analysis of the eclipse, encompassing scientific, cultural, and economic viewpoints. As the eclipse's path of totality crosses over thirty-one million Americans, an occurrence not expected to repeat until 2045, we delve into its multifaceted impact. Utilizing innovative visual storytelling, our goal is to highlight the diverse aspects of this astronomical event, unveiling its significance in various domains.
